About Beeler.Tech
What is Beeler.Tech?
Beeler.Tech is a community for the people who run the business side of publishing and original media: ad ops, revenue, product and operations teams, and the partners who work with them. It brings them together through a members' Slack community, a weekly newsletter (The Traffic Report), community calls, events (Base.Camp and Navigator) and the In View partnership program. Rob Beeler founded it.
Who is Rob Beeler?
Rob Beeler is the founder and CEO of Beeler.Tech. He started his career in ad ops and created Beeler.Tech so the people doing that work could compare notes and solve problems together instead of alone.
How do I join the Beeler.Tech community?
Apply with the form on the Community page. Membership is for ad ops and revenue operations professionals, and for publisher solution providers who want to help publishers rather than sell to them. Members get the Slack workspaces, a members' newsletter every Monday, community calls and dinner discussions.
Events
What events does Beeler.Tech run?
Two main formats. Base.Camp is a three-day, invite-only working event for publishing revenue and ad ops leaders. Navigator is shorter: one day in London, and two days in New York from 2027. Coming up: Base.Camp Madrid (Nov 8-11, 2026), Base.Camp Charlotte Harbor (Mar 14-17, 2027), Navigator NYC (May 4-5, 2027), Navigator London (Jun 17, 2027), Base.Camp Ghent (Oct 17-20, 2027) and Base.Camp Scottsdale (Nov 7-10, 2027).
What is Base.Camp?
Base.Camp is a three-day, invite-only event where ad ops and publishing revenue leaders work through the industry's hardest problems together. Sessions are built around attendees' own challenges, not a sponsor's agenda. Each one has a Tuesday afternoon of group activities in the host city. It is a working event, not a vacation.
Who should attend Base.Camp?
Senior people on the business side of a publisher who are responsible for revenue or operations, where advertising revenue is a key focus. Companies that serve publishers take part as event VIP partners.
How do I request an invitation to a Beeler.Tech event?
Base.Camp and Navigator are invite-only. Use the 'I want to attend' or 'Request your invitation' form on the event's page (https://share.hsforms.com/1m8zvhWhaSTa7J1obiaHp-g57arc). If you are invited, you register and buy your ticket from the link Beeler.Tech sends.
Can I attend more than one Beeler.Tech event?
Yes. Tell Beeler.Tech which events you want on the events package form and the team will build a package with you. Events are invite-only and fill up, so ask early.
Can I get a refund or transfer my event ticket?
Ticket sales are final and are not refunded, including if you decide not to attend. Beeler.Tech may approve a change of name on a ticket if you ask by email. If an event is moved to a new date, your ticket moves with it. The event terms and conditions have the full rules.
What is Navigator?
Navigator is Beeler.Tech's shorter event for people doing the work in ad tech and the business side of publishing. Navigator London is one day (June 17, 2027). Navigator NYC is two days from 2027: May 4 covers today's operational and commercial problems, May 5 covers emerging technology and business models.
When and where is Base.Camp Madrid?
Sunday, November 8 to Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at the Thompson Madrid hotel, Plaza del Carmen, 28013 Madrid, near Puerta del Sol and Gran Vía. Registration opens Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
What is on the Base.Camp Madrid agenda?
Sunday: registration, a first-timers meetup and the welcome dinner. Monday: a morning run, Parmy Olson of Bloomberg on what publishers aren't being told about the AI labs, then breakouts led by publishers (programmatic's ceiling, ops in agent-led sales, sites people need rather than read, and more). Tuesday afternoon is set aside for group activities. The agenda is still being built from attendee input; the agenda page has the current version.
What are the Tuesday afternoon activities at Base.Camp Madrid?
Five choices on Tuesday afternoon: a roaming tapas walk, an eBike ride through central Madrid, a Real Madrid stadium tour with a virtual football match, a history walk ending at the Royal Palace, and a hands-on tapas cooking workshop. The tapas walk cannot accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions.
How do I get to Base.Camp Madrid from the airport, and what should I pack?
Fly into Madrid-Barajas (MAD). A taxi is the simplest way into the city center, and Uber works too. Expect days in the mid-60s °F and cooler evenings, so bring a warm jacket. Evening events are smart and stylish, and pack for your Tuesday activity.
What should I know before my first Base.Camp?
Read the event's attendee information page first. Base.Camp opens Sunday with a smaller, alcohol-free meetup for first-timers before the welcome dinner. Expect to work: sessions are discussions you take part in, not talks you watch. Tuesday afternoon is for group activities, so pick one and pack for it.
Who is speaking at Base.Camp Madrid?
Bloomberg columnist Parmy Olson opens Monday. Session leaders include people from The Washington Post, Tripadvisor, Bauer Media, Media Impact / Axel Springer, Mail Metro Media, IAB Tech Lab, Kronen Zeitung, Dexerto and others, with more to come. The event page has the current list.
In View
What is In View?
In View is Beeler.Tech's partnership program for companies that serve publishers. Partners get weekly reports and alerts on what publishers are discussing, content collaborations, Camp.Fire calls and Pub.Pitch sessions with publishers, and first access to event sponsorships. To ask about it, email support@beeler.tech.
Content
What is The Traffic Report?
The Traffic Report is Beeler.Tech's weekly newsletter: hand-picked industry commentary and community conversations for people in ad ops and publishing revenue. Subscribe and read past issues on The Traffic Report page.
Where can I read Beeler.Tech articles?
Beeler.Tech's commentary page holds editorials, interviews with industry leaders and anonymous takes from publishers. Older guides and articles that live only on the archive are at mcp.beeler.tech/archive.
What are Revenue Moves?
A Revenue Move is a named way a publisher can add or protect revenue, such as adding vertical video demand. Beeler.Tech tracks each move with what publishers and vendors saw, think and recommend, each statement sourced and linked. Ask an assistant connected to mcp.beeler.tech, or browse RevenueScape on beeler.tech.
Does Beeler.Tech list industry jobs and events?
Yes. The job board lists ad ops, sales and publisher revenue jobs, each checked daily against the employer's own site; companies can post a job through the form on the page. The industry event calendar lists conferences and meetups worth the trip, labelled when the agenda is built for publishers, with Beeler.Tech's ties shown.
